My Favorite Plants
My favorite plant that bloomed for this year was my lemon tree. It smelled wonderful. Although it didn't produce fruit this year I'm hoping for a better year next season.
Plants Currently in My Garden
I have a greenhouse, so there are countless in there. My main goal for here is to learn about different veggies that I can produce throughout all the seasons.
I love to garden, because....
I love to see what I've helpped grow.
Biggest Gardening Challenge

I keep looking at these ornamental peppers. Does anyone know if they are edible. There are NO labels that say not to, but I see the word ornamental and think that they are just for show. I have a 17 month old toddler who is at that stage where everything has to go to the mouth, so the one I have stays out of reach, but is it safe for us to eat?

Alright, so everyone knows that when it hits late August we see these beautiful mums growing that are just so beautiful you have to take one home from the local hardware store, or the grociery store. Well today I held myself back and didn't buy one even though they are so beautiful. I know they are a perennial, but that's about it. Then I started reading other peoples blogs about them appearing in the spring. I'm really interested in picking a few out and bringing them home, but I don't know a lot about them. I am really interested to know when they actually appear. Is it spring, or is it fall. when do they actually start blooming? I don't know if they are forced to look that nice, or if they are just a natural at being easy to take care of. Then there is the big one, are they poisonous to children or pets? My daughter is at that age where she is putting everything in her mouth, and I can't have anything out that is harmful contender. All of my plants that are inside are fruit baring items. I'd really like to get a few mums around the house, but I can't seem to find a source for these lovely late bloomers.

Hello everyone,
I have recently started doing some winter veggie gardening. I've found from a few sites that we can grow veggies such as broccoli, brussel sprouts, and a few others in a cold greenhouse with no problems. Has anyone else ever done this? I'm so excited to hear about your winter time yields!

Hello everyone,
I have had my banana plant for about a year now. It is so wonderful! I just love it. I have an issue though. For some reason I believe due to the temperature change in the season (zone 6). I brought my plants inside, Mr. Banana really must have loved it out there because he's now turning a horrible brown. Does anyone think he would be alright in a greenhouse that is a cold greenhouse (no heat in winter)?
