I love to garden, because....
it is good mental and physical therapy. I love to see plants grow and thrive. I like to share the beauty with others as we are on a highway and people can enjoy them from the road. It is also a challenge. I like to design my gardens. Also I like to put surprises in the gardens like a dancing girl in the pansies.
Biggest Gardening Challenge
Energy, physical ability and time.
If I'm not gardening, I can be found:
reading, working on genealogy and family stories,
Other Hobbies
baking and collecting recipes, rearranging the house.

One of our local nurseries had a stevia plant for sale which they say you can use instead of sugar. I see it is now in powder form for sale.
Has anyone had experience with this plant and if you raise it how do you use it as a sweetener? Also are there scientific studies that indicate if it affects glucose in blood? Thanks.
That is a great question. I wish I could answer it myself. I've often wondered the same thing about these sweet plants. The one plus I am aware of is that this sweetie is a calorie free one. Which would be nice for my thighs! lol!
