I'd like to transplant my Japanese ornamental tree from a pot that it's been in for about 7 years into the ground. When is the best time to do this? If I miss the best time to do this are there other options that will work?

You don't say where you live... Some gardeners would say it's better to transplant thin barked trees in spring (maple being one of them). Donna W. Moramarco |
