For those of you that are "blessed" with deer populations, what are the plants that you have found that they won't bother in your landscaping and gardens? Mine are Won't touch: Boxwood, Black Knight grafted Butterfly Bush tree, Little Gem Magnolia, Inkberry Holly, Blue Prince Holly, Hummingbird Summersweet, Alberta Spruce, Birdsnest Spruce, Mother of Thyme, Lavender, Royal Candles Veronica, Black Flowering Fountain Grass, May Night Salvia, Marcus Salvia, Soapwort, Maiden Hair Grass, Catmint, Little Spires Russian Sage, Blue Woolly Speedwell, European tri-color Beech, Burkwood Viburnum, Bosnian Pine. We had a bad Winter this year and they didn't bother these plants in Spring, Summer and Fall but browsed them this Winter: Vinca Minor (periwinkle), Blue Maid Holly. |
