The Squeaky Wheel...

Tuesday, October 27, 2009, 11:40 PM CST [General]

...gets the grease.

Naturally, after a blog posting last Thursday, October 22 complaining about the seeming late arrival of fall foliage splendor, all changed within 48-72 hours.

With a cloudy, rainy day today on Tuesday the 27th, I ventured out for images. The wet trunks and leaves yield the most intense colors on film.

Therefore, with no further adieu, I present "Autumn in Upstate South Carolina": (Have your speakers turned on, too).

Special thank you to Trigger, the resident housecat, who finally perfected his use of the metallic brushes on the snare drum during production. Unfortunately I had to return the vibraphone to the Rent-A-Center.

I can't wait for the oak trees to turn their rustic tones of maroon, rust red and golden tan!

Beautiful! It is really nice that the seasons are at different times in different parts of the country so we can enjoy them as they move across the country. What kind of camera do you have?
