My Favorite Plants
I have large plants all inside my home. outside I have just started planting new shrubs in the front of the house were there was nothing planted. (I just moved into my boyfriends home) I started with Golden and Crimson Barberry shrubs. alternating the colors on either sides of the house. I have planted Tulips for spring so far and Perennials and want to add annualls as well. My home gets full sun with little shade. I have a very small yard.
Plants Currently in My Garden
I also have a veg. garden. I am growing Eight tomatoe plants, squase, lettus and watermelon so far.
I love to garden, because....
It connects me to nature and makes me feel like I am part of the earth. I love to eat what I grow I grew up in the country but now live in a small city.
Biggest Gardening Challenge
My back yard floods when it rains there is no drainage. I have a large area that could be made into a garden haven but I have a big flooding problem.

Other Hobbies
I am a CASA volunteer. I am a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Abused and Neglected Children. I am a Childs Voice in the court room.
