Vegetables for small kitchen garden, i.e., tomatoes, snap beans, squash, okra, corn, cucumbers, etc.
Flowers both annuals and perrenials, roses, gardenias...the list goes on...I'm looking for more flowers that are fragrant

Vegetables and flowers mentioned as favorites. I have good luck with wave patunias in our hot, dry summers. I've added two hydrangias this spring and look forward to adding dwarf gardenias and peonies.

Biggest Gardening Challenge
Keeping plants watered during our dry, hot summers. We often have water restrictions plus it's very expensive to water even if there are no restrictions. I'm experimenting with rain barrels.
If I'm not gardening, I can be found:
Reading, writing short stories, photographing nature/historical sites, events.
