This group is moderated by Mo Gilmer of Palm Springs, California, an authority on using cactus, succulents and desert plants in the landscape and in pots. The goal is to help everyone better understand this very specific group of plants to help spread their exotic beauty, color and value in water conservation.
The 4 Step First Garden is the ideal starter project for any family or individual, and this is the place to show and tell, ask and learn as the weeks go past. The garden is in a container so everyone can participate whether you grow on a fire escape or a rental home. Each week we take you step by step into the rewarding world of gardening which means you’ll eat healthier and more cheaply this summer. In the process you’ll learn important basics about containers, soil, plants, and how they interact over the weeks to come. These lessons apply to container gardens or in ground plots, so they’ll become the foundation for a healthy future of healthy organic home-grown food at your house.
This group is for those of us who can have a small farm in our backyard--share your experiences, tips and photos to help others who may like to raise some critters!
The National Garden Clubs Garden Time online courses are designed to take gardeners to the next level of knowledge in the world of gardening. Join this group when you take a Garden Time course and post your comments and results to share with other course participants.
