My Favorite Plants Fragrant plants, vegetables --
Plants Currently in My Garden pansies and johnny-jump-ups look awful but have re-seeded for fall! With such cool weather, the sweetpeas are twining in the Dogwood. Kaffir Lime probably needs to move indoors out of the wind. Doing well: dinosaur kale, Siletz, Thessaloniki, and Black tomatoes; Gretel and Zebra eggplant; fennel; yarrow; David Austin's "Janet" roses; Nelly Moser and Jackmanii clematis; Charentais melons looking for something to sprawl upon... and a new grill so I can take it "farm to table in just a few steps.
I love to garden, because.... It's peaceful, constructive, and very productive
Biggest Gardening Challenge Wind and water. Wind. Oh, and did I mention how windy it is up here?
If I'm not gardening, I can be found: In the kitchen or pounding the pavement
Other Hobbies Shoveling snow, unpacking from my move-in
